Milliamp LTD, the company associated with the popular ipodjuice .com website, announced Tuesday that they will be adding 4th Generation iPod nano LCD screen replacements to their list of valuable services. Among their most recognized maintenance functions are iPod repairs, iPod battery replacements, and the sale of iPod battery kits.
The Fourth Gen iPod nano is the most recent in a line of brilliant inventions made by the ever-popular Apple Inc. establishment. It combines the best traits of old and new iPods alike – incorporating the tall, sleek design with a larger screen. It’s the thinnest iPod in Apple history and comes with an enhanced user interface.
With a decorated record in customer service, Milliamp LTD has become one of the top, reputable iPod repair companies on the internet. In business for four years now, the company has worked its way to the top by offering an almost unrivaled quality of service since its opening date.
Thousands of customers testify to the ease of their website, as well as the speed and superiority of their repairs. As founder of the website ipodjuice .com, Mr. Anthony Magnabosco, put it: “We try to deliver our best to each and every customer because we know they are the ones that make our company strong.”.
While the 4th Generation iPod nano LCD screens can be considered relatively durable, dropping the iPod can have disastrous effects on the outer glass screen. All it takes is a direct impact on the window at a certain angle and you can have a real problem.
Fortunately, however, the replacement offered by Milliamp LTD can be considered quite a bargain, especially for the quality and the precision of the work involved. Delicately removing the broken screen to exchange with a new one is a tedious and careful process because of the amount of deconstruction involved.
Interestingly, the outer glass on the 4th Gen iPod nano is completely separate from the underlying display. In most cases, it is the outer glass that needs to be replaced, and not the display, which is why Milliamp LTD offers both kinds of repairs. In the rare event that both components would be damaged, the company will take that into consideration when pricing out the repair.
While it is possible for a user to replace his or her own screen, it’s not recommended. Quality parts are very hard to find. In addition, the procedure can be extremely complicated and one false move – such as a slip of the screwdriver – could ultimately damage the iPod nano beyond repair.
Not to mention the process of reconstruction. Every item has to be put back into place, exactly as it was. For the common iPod owner, the risk of damaging or not being able to reassemble the iPod is quite unnecessary, so it is strongly advised that you send your device to the experts.
“We don’t ever want any accidents, so we make sure our technicians are knowledgeable and highly-trained in the iPod repair field,” said Mr. Magnabosco.
Unlike some companies on the web, however, Milliamp LTD employs only the most skilled professionals for iPod LCD screen replacements. They are the best of the best and know, through experience, exactly what they are doing.
“We are always able to adjust to the new and ever shrinking versions of iPods and iPhones, making it possible to complete any repair that our customers need.”, says Troy Harris, Senior Repair Manager at Milliamp LTD. “The new iPod nano has an internal design like no other iPod that came before it, and is very difficult for the average consumer or repair company to service.”, continued Harris.
Contrary to initial impression, the console actually sports a curved glass exterior (instead of plastic). It also comes in either an 8 GB or 16 GB capacity – which should be more than enough space for any music lover to store countless MP3s, videos, and/or photos.
What makes the 4th Generation iPod nano even more unique is its beautiful aluminum design. It has an accelerometer like the iPhone, which allows the user to view pictures and videos horizontally – simply by rotating the iPod. In addition to that, the “shake to shuffle” feature allows for instant track shuffling by giving the iPod just a tiny shake.
As you can well imagine, the 4th Generation iPod nano comes with its usual perks as well. It still plays music, has the ability to store and display photos, and plays full-motion color video.
The iPod’s setup is simple enough, requiring the download of iTunes 8 – which has been redesigned with a beautiful, if similar, appearance. You can, of course, find more information at the Apple website: apple.com.
The company and its website, ipodjuice .com, which specializes in a wide array of iPod repairs, iPod battery replacements, and iPod battery replacement kits, has become one of the rising stars of the iPod repair world.
Milliamp LTD runs the website ipodjuice .com, both of which are in NO WAY associated with Apple Computer, Inc., in the event you were wondering about that. ‘Apple’, ‘iPod’, and ‘iPhone’ are trademarks of Apple Computer, Inc., registered in the U.S. and other countries.
Mitsubishi is looking forward to ushering in a new era in living room entertainment by introducing its new LaserVue TV which is ready for shipping. Will such laser technology overpower the combined might of both plasma and LCD at this point in time? I don’t think so – at least not yet. After all, LCD prices have been dropping pretty steadily over the years for them to be finally affordable for the average Joe, so to move up a notch to the next level is definitely out of the question for most people, in addition to the fact that most people are already tightening their belts due to the insanely high cost of living in which we’re faced with every day. Let us take a closer look at the Mitsubishi LaserVue TV right after the jump.
This mammoth 65″ Mitsubishi LaserVue will retail for $6,999 at selected special retailers around the US, which is pretty reasonable considering the kind of technology crammed within. LaserVue has been marketed to be the most energy efficient large-format, high-definition television available on the market at point of publishing. Not only does it deliver twice the color of many HDTVs do these days, it also sips up exponentially less juice compared to either LCD or plasma displays. What makes LaserVue hold such an advantage over both plasma and LCD? Well, it uses laser beams to shoot a wide range of rich, complex colors at unprecedented clarity and immersive depth of field. Being precise and focused, the laser light’s purity is (pardon the pun) light years ahead of many high definition technologies we find today. Features include Smooth 120Hz, x.v. Color and 1080p resolution, all packed within an Ultra Thin Frame.
window.google_render_ad();
In addition, the LaserVue will also come with 3D-ready viewing capabilities, and it can stand proudly on the floor or mounted on the wall with a thickness of 10″. There is no need to have a souped up audio system since the integrated speakers are good enough for everyday viewing, but I think most people who have splurged $6,999 on such a TV won’t mind spending a wee bit more on a decent home theater system.

Those of you owning an ipod or iphone sure must have tried their hands on the iTines applications for music transfer.Yes!Like you all, even we got our hands on the iTunes and thought it could be worthwhile to review it and take a look at it from a technical
aspect. So here’s presenting a review of the iTunes 8 (Software Version 1.1.8 ) application.
Apple has been known to provide crisp products that in pride about their stylish and chic looks. Now here we are speakingof a software application, yet the company manages to present their style and charm through the software platform. Starting off with the
review, the application is surely easy to install but one might need a tutorial on how to use it.
Just connect your iPod to the computer and the iTunes application will start off automatically on the computer. Import music on to the music libraries and synchronizing becomes an easier task with a click of a button. Segregate the files on the basis of music, videos,TV shows and Podcasts.

As far as usability is concerned, drag and drop functions can surely help. The access to the iTunes store is again one good source of entertainment, one can download songs, games,
podcasts and a lot more. This is surely one application that transfers data on an efficient, quick and in a trendy manner.Speaking of downsides of this application, it can sure get
cumbersome to import files such as video/movie files. The Application once connected to a computer and once transfers are done to the iPod/iPhone, the user has to continue using the same desktop where he/she has installed iTunes on. If a user tries to transfer files from
iTunes stored in a different desktop, the user will loose all the files saved on the iPod/iPhone. Now that’s surely one drawback none of us would like. The software application is definitely not suited for the ones new to technology topics
Shown At Apple Paris Expo
IPod Nano for jus Rs.1200 onwards
Nashville, Tenn.
— GriffinTechnology used the arrival of fall to launch a variety of iPod and iPhone cases and accessories.
At the Apple Expo Paris, held last month, the manufacturer unveiled the AirCurve acoustic amplifier dock and its Clarifi iPhone case that features a built-in lens for close-up photography.
The AirCurve ($19.99) is engineered to collect and amplify the sound from the built-in speaker of the iPhone and project it into the room. A coiled waveguide within AirCurve’s base eliminates the need for batteries or power adapters, said Griffin. Constructed of translucent polycarbonate, the AirCurve also includes a pass-through slot for charging and syncing the iPhone using the company’s sold-separately dock connector cable.
The Clarifi iPhone 3G case ($34.99) features a built-in lens “to give the iPhone camera lens an optical boost,” said Griffin. The lens is said to slide into place for close-up shots, and then slide aside for normal photography. It reportedly allows users to move in to 4 to 6 inches; the iPhone camera alone is limited to about 18-inch close-ups, according to Griffin. Complete access to power switch, headphone jack, volume controls and touchscreen is available with the Clarifi, and features the company’s EasyDock design in which the case bottom can be slipped off for charging and syncing the iPhone.
Griffin also launched its Simplifi aluminum desktop solution, which is said to consolidate an iPod and iPhone dock, media card reader and USB hub into a single device. Features include the ability to charge an iPhone and all dock-rechargeable iPod models that charge via USB, a USB mini cable for syncing the iPod or iPhone with a computer, two-port powered USB hub, AC adapter, and the ability to read and write such digital media cards as Memory Stick, Memory Stick Pro, SD, SDHC, xD and CF. It’s currently available for $69.99.
A multitude of cases for the fourth-generation iPod Nano and iPhone 3G hit the market last month from Griffin, including the Elan Form, FlexScreen, Reflect and iClear with belt clip and armband.
The Elan Form ($29.99) is a hard-shell leather case that’s meant to snap snugly around an iPod and offers triple protection in a slim, no-clip design. It bonds leather to hard-shell polycarbonate material, encasing the fourth-generation Nano or second-generation iPod Touch in two layers of protection. A screen protector is included, and it features the company’s EasyDock design.
Designed to cover the entire face of the fourth-generation Nano with a
crystal-clear, scratch-resistant polycarbonate shield, the FlexScreen ($24.99) has an outer jacket of frosted silicone. A flexible static-peel protector covers the click wheel. It is available as a two-pack with black and clear color options.
The Reflect ($24.99) for the second-generation Touch features a mirrored chrome finish and a matte black rubberized case back. A static-peel screen protector and premium cleaning cloth are included.
The iClear with belt clip and armband ($29.99) is a transparent polycarbonate case for the second-generation Touch, fourth-generation Nano and iPod Classic. This newest version of iClear comes with a removable belt clip that swivels to make a stand for hands-free viewing and an adjustable armband for added functionality. A static-peel screen cover and a microfiber cleaning cloth are also included.
Designed to mount an iPhone 3G or a Touch on a car’s windshield or dashboard at eye level, theWindowSeat ($29.99) features an adjustable mounting bracket that reportedly holds the device at any desired angle. It includes an audio cable for playing the device directly through the car stereo, and is designed to allow use with the company’s PowerJolt auto charger or iTrip Auto FM transmitter.
Finally, the Wave, which the company hailed as its best-selling case for the iPhone, has been updated and redesigned to fit the fourth-generation Nano 4G, second-generation Touch and the 80GB and 120GB Classics.
The updated polycarbonate Wave cases feature the same wave-shaped contours that overlap and interlock on the original iPhone version, modified with the double-helix design now on the front and back of the case, said Griffin. It also comes with the company’s EasyDock design. The case is said to allow easy access to the dock connector, headphone port and hold switch. A full-coverage static-peel screen protector and cleaning cloth are included. It is available individually and in “Mix & Match” two-packs for those who wish to customize the case.
Pricing for the Wave is as follows:
Nano, white or black, $24.99; two-packs (black and green, or black and white), $34.99
• Touch, white, black or pink, $24.99; two-packs (black and green, or black and white), $34.99
• Classic 80GB/120GB, white or black, $24.99.
Nice comparison
| # | Nokia 5800 XpressMusic | Apple iPhone 3G |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Nokia’s XpressMusic series has been widely famous for its great music quality, plus nokia has also pushed in a new online music store, plus any XpressMusicc phone comes in with a 1 year subscription to download unlimited songs (with DRM). | Apple’s online music store, iTunes has been a major player for their music advance, but their music qualities and online integration have made them really popular in terms of music. |
| 2 | This cell phone comes in with a 3.2 Mega pixels camera with Carl Zeiss Optics and dual flash, this is quite enough for just a phone. | The iPhone came in with just a 2 Megapixels camera and no Flash nor Carl Zeiss optics. |
| 3 | It claims up to 35 hours of Music, and it is overall better either for voice, data and standby (about 15 to 30% more) | It has up to 24 hours of Music, and other technical specifications regarding the Battery life are below Nokia 5800. |
| 4 | It comes with a 8GB Micro SD Card, so this is definitely better because upgrading memory would be very cheap and easy. | It comes in two forms, 8GB and 16GB internal. Although that is quite a lot but extending memory in any case is not possible. |
| 5 | It has a 3.2″ screen with a resolution of 640×360, which means a higher resolution on relatively not so big screen. | It has a 3.5″ screen with a resolution of 480 x 320, which means a small resolution on a big screen, not very impressive. |
| 6 | It does not only offer finger touch but stylus and plectrum as well which gives us more choices on the Input method. | It basically depends on personal taste as iPhone only offers finger touch as the input method. |
| 7 | Video Recording is another common feature of a Nokia mobile. In addition you can record videos with the standard Nokia application and make video calls, something not yet possible on the iPhone. | Although the iPhone is capable of playing some video formats some services have to be installed whereas they come pre-installed in nokia 5800. |
I think that the results are very clear leading to one result, that until iPhone makes another release with more features Nokia 5800 is to stay on top, not only because of the slick features but also because it gave birth to a whole new concept to all of the cellular companies like Nokia to keep up with the generation. So you still with iPhone 3G, or have you made a little change of mind?
Remember being eight-years-old and zooming in on an ant or a piece of dandruff on that plastic microscope that you received for your birthday? Well now you can relive those days of questioning and experimentation with the USB Microscope, which is the perfect device to wile away the hours at work.

This nifty USB gadget allows you zoom in (from 20x to 200x) on any object you happen to have on hand. It also comes with software allowing you to be a real boffin and record your findings as photos and videos onto your PC.
To use, just plug the USB connection into your PC and start examining just how gross your keyboard really is – no science degree required!
The USB Microscope is versatile enough to be held like a pen or can be fixed to a little desktop stand. It even features an internal white LED to illuminate objects to the max.
This gadget is really a sophisticated bit of sciencery and would come in handy for students, collectors, the generally inquisitive or those with a hangnail that they just can’t stop inspecting.
We have covered a lot of interesting mirrors on Coolest Gadgets, most recently the Magic Mirror Security System. This new Interactive Mirror from BlogLitStudios could easily take the cake for technological mirrors.
The Interactive Mirror is something that you really need to see to believe, which is why I included this YouTube video so you can view it in action after the jump. In all honesty, I hope that everyone has a chance to try this out this Interactive Mirror for themselves.
This isn’t the first time that someone has put an interactive display onto an ordinary bathroom mirror, but what BlogLitStudios has accomplished has made it more fun than just viewing morning stock and weather reports. This model of the Interactive Mirror may have some less practical applications, but they sure look like fun.
I believe it was Dr. Seuss who said “no one can resist a mirror”, so how could anyone resist a mirror that allows you to draw on it like a paint program? The interface is almost like an iPhone, and you should see what you can do with text!
I definitely like the application of trying out T-shirt designs by simply selecting patterns on a design menu. Yes, I long for the day when the Interactive Mirror is at every clothing store.
